About
Who even am I? let's start from there.
My name is Saki. I am a 23 (at the moment) year old tech nerd who just wants his own space on the internet to share all types of works.
I believe myself to be a polymath in the making, a genius apprentice, a highly advanced beginner.
I genuinely enjoy everything about tech and Computer Engineering so much and i want to devote a lifetime to that, hence the need for this site as a living document of my journey.
I believe the world is at the cusp of a great shift at every given time and these times are no different.
There's so much potential for an entirely different way of life for humans
with all the technology that is available to us as a collective.
I believe that it is therefore all our individual duty to contribute our parts to the steering of the herd.
To set the ball rolling in some particular way. to change the game to fit the futures we envision. to make stuff for the benefit of humans. I believe there's nothing moere important
to a human than inventing something that aids the survival, flourishing and thriving of our species.
I refer to this as Nietzschean Engineering. And that is the northstar of my entire journey and career as a software engineer.
I pledge myself to the perfection of my craft by all means,
for however long it takes. That i will attain mastery.
Origins:
I studied science with biology in senior high school with the aims of going to university to study pharmacy or anything related to medicine that i can get into.
This flipped on me when i got a b3 in chemistry and decided to switch before i get bounced out of uni, i switched to computer engineering.
Mainly because i thought computer science was too much
abstract maths and computer engineering would get me hands on quicker. boy was i wrong. but how much i loved it all.
from understanding the physics of a bit, electronics, applied electricity, linear ciruits, discrete maths, calculus, multivariable calculus,
linear algebra, differential equations, micro processors, digital signal processing, wired and wireless communication, software engineering, operating systems, AI, into to software engineering, web and mobile architecture... just to name almost everything.
loved it all. and i want a lifetime of that. i want to master all of it.
i want a lifelong education in the intricacies of humanity's most impressive piece of technology so far. the cornerstone on which the future has perched on and made a home.
Currently:
Graduated with a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from the University of Ghana.
Trained a whole year as a professional Software engineer at a reputable software services company.
Hoping to break into the industry one way or the other.
Anywhere that i can polish my skills while contributing to something meaningful.
On the side, during my leisure, i cook up software ideas and imagine how much humans coud benefit if these ideas existed.
I finally got embarrased about how much i was thinking and not doing.
How many of my ideas have stayed in words where they cannot break or throw errors.
How elaborately i have tangled myself into prorastination.
Finally i declared, no more. I declared this site ready and decided to just go for it.
Prepare to be amazed.
My [other] Interests:
I have a lot of interests, i might not be able to list them all yet. My curiousity is insatiable.
i want to know everything there is. I wish to be able to do anything at all.
here's a crude list anyways:
- chess: ive been playing since 2023. peak rating of 1722 on chess . com. i swear by the vienna.
- philosophy: been a fan since age 16. helped me through my dark youth... nothing happened i was just emo so i picked up some youtube essay about stoicism and have been hooked since.
- space:
- biology, microbiology, behavorial biology, neuroscience and bioinformatics:
- reading: i would ready anything at all.
- drawing:
- writing:
- skating:
- yapping:
- wood carving: my most recent obsession.
What to expect:
- evrything! you'll see.
anyways, you're welcome to look around. something might catch your eye.
